This is a growing collection and commentary of the sutras in and associated with the Pali Canon of theravada buddhism.

The Pali Tipitaka (Pali Canon) is made up of these "three baskets" of scripture:

I. Vinaya Pitaka (basket of discipline)

II. Sutta Pitaka/Nikayas (basket of dicourses)

1. Digha Nikaya (34 "long" discorses)
2. Majjhima Nikaya (152 "middle length" discourses)
3. Samyutta Nikaya (2,889 - 7,762 "shorter length" discorses)
4. Anguttara Nikaya (9,565 "short" discorses arranged numerically)

III. Abhidamma Pitaka (basket of commentaries)
